Bullock Cart travel only happen in India.
It was a fancy 'drive' for us in childhood to jump onto a passing bullock cart and take a lift for some distance. The dingling-dangling journey and the sound of the bells and chains tied to the bullocks and to the cart were really enjoyable for us.
When the cart driver used to whip the bullocks, we used to scold him and after getting down we used to lovingly embrace the bullocks and give them some grass to from the nearby fence.
